Barter Buddies

Terms for Members

We have drawn up a number of terms and conditions in order to protect our members. We are also relying on members to exercise personal responsibility and to be as vigilant as possible. The more that members are self-policing, the better.

1. No money must change hands.
2. Bartering integrity must be maintained and will be regularly monitored. Barter Buddies reserves the exclusive right to determine what is or is not bartering integrity.
3. There must be no 'Bad Taste' barters, and Barter Buddies reserves the exclusive right to determine what is or is not a 'Bad Taste' barter.
4. No-one is to use the Barter Buddies Web site until they have passed their eighteenth birthday. It is the responsibility of the individual applicant to be honest about their age. If Barter Buddies discovers that a member has not reached their eighteenth birthday, that member will be disqualified from the Barter Buddies Web site and will forfeit any money that has been paid.
5. In the interests of good behaviour by and between members, Barter Buddies reserves the exclusive right to disqualify members from the Web site at their absolute discretion and without being obliged to furnish any explanation of the disqualification either to the member in question or to any other member or to any other third party.
